Weekly Recap is a weekly feature here at Lost in Literature where we discuss all things bookish from the past week!

I’ve linked to Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga at Team Tynga’s Reviews & The Sunday Post, hosted by Kim at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Life Happenings

Hi, friends!  How is everyone’s week going?  Ours has been a bit crazy this week.  We had a huge blizzard that dropped over a foot of snow, so we’ve been inside for the past few days, trying to find things to do.  School was closed both Thursday and Friday, so me and my little guy have been making the best of the time together.  There’s only so much to do when you’re stuck inside for two days though, so we’re looking forward to getting out of the house this weekend.  😉

Book Haul (For Review)

And a massive box of ARCs from the lovely team at Fierce Reads!  I’m so excited for sooooo many of these!!  (Sorry, I’m far too lazy to link to all of these. But if you can’t see a name or would like more info on any one of these, just ask. 🙂 )

eBooks

One of Us Is Lying Little Monsters You're Welcome, Universe The Heartbeats of Wing Jones Goodbye Days Seven Days of You Get It Together, Delilah!

Book of the Month Haul

Each month I receive three books from Book of the Month, and these are the three I chose this month!  Each one sounds awesome, so I’m so excited to start reading them.  Which should I start with?  Have you read any of these yet?

Currently Reading

To Catch a Killer A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #2)

Reading: To Catch a Killer ~ This one has been really good!  I’m about 100 pages in and really liking it so far!

Listening: ACOMFA ~ Yup, still making my way through this one.  I’m really loving it!!  It’s just finding time to listen that’s giving me trouble.  I was listening at night, but then I found that I wasn’t paying attention and would have to rewind it anyway.  So, I hope to find some time to listen this weekend!

One of Us is Lying looks so so interesting! I’m jealous to hear that school got cancelled for you, I’m feeling pretty done with it right now!

I want to read all those ARCs you got from Fierce Reads. Several of the, are already in my TBR list.

  • I got Perfect Little World in my BOTM box too this month! The premise is unlike anything I’ve ever read, so I’m really excited to delve into this “utopian” world. I got approved for Wing Jones too, and I’m very intrigued by it. I’ve never read a YA with magical realism elements, so I hope they’re done well. *fingers crossed*

Your ARCs stack look like some great reads! We have never had school cancelled for anything except extremely icy roads. With kids I’m sure it gets old quickly having to be cooped inside. I hope you all enjoy the weekend!

  • We had snow too just not as much. Thursday was bad but by Friday we were good. I am so ready for spring!!! WOW on your haul. I spy some ones I am really wanting to read. I got my first BOTM and got The Animators. Hope you enjoy all your new pretties and have a great week!

  • Wow! You won the book lottery this week! I love the Book of the Month club. I got Behind Her Eyes, The Animators, and The Tresspasser. It is great that you are able to pick what you want. Sorry you had to deal with snow this week.

  • I hate being snowing in! It sounds like you made the best of it, though. You got so many great books! I think I’m going to read Wing Jones next. I’ve been hearing so many good things about it.

  • I’m so jealous of everyone getting Bad Romance! I desperately want that book.
I need to start ACOMAF! It’s such a thick book and I haven’t read one of those in a while (aside from Every Dark Corner). I’m glad you had a good week, Lisa!
