Lisa’s Weekly Recap ~ 2.25.17

February 25, 2017 // Posted by Lisa in Stacking the Shelves, Weekly Recaps // 9 Comments

Weekly Recap is a weekly feature here at Lost in Literature where we discuss all things bookish from the past week!

I’ve linked to Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga at Team Tynga’s Reviews & The Sunday Post, hosted by Kim at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Life Happenings

More crazy weather happening here in New England.  We got a foot of snow a couple of weeks ago, then today it was in the 70’s.  It’s been so nuts!!  I’m not complaining though… it’s been really nice to be able to sit outside and read again this week.  Next week is dropping back down to the 40’s, I believe, so I’ll take the warmer weather while I can.

I’ve been struggling to find time to read again.  It’s sad because I’ve been LOVING the books I’m reading, yet every time I try to read before bed (which is when I usually find the time), I end up falling asleep after only about 30 minutes.  I wish I could sit down and binge an entire book like I used to do when I was younger.  I guess I’m too old for binges now.  LOL!

I’m struggling to find time to read, too. I come home and have things I need to do, and put it off until bedtime, and by then I’m doing the Jello-neck head bob and have to prop up my eyelids with toothpicks. I need to start being more selfish! lol
