Weekly Recap is a weekly feature here at Lost in Literature where we discuss all things bookish from the past week!

I’ve linked to Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga at Team Tynga’s Reviews & The Sunday Post, hosted by Kim at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Life Happenings

Oh my goodness where did February go? I cannot believe March is already here! 2017 is already going too fast for my liking! Part of me is glad that February is over though, we got over 20 inches of snow and each family member took turns being sick the entire month! I think my kids were home more than they went to school last month! Then March comes in with a few days in the 60’s and it felt like Spring was coming early! Now were back to normal temps with the high today at 30 degrees and tomorrow a frigid 21 degrees has being forecast 🙁 Hopefully Spring will be here soon! The family and I always plant a vegetable Garden in Spring, it is a lot of fun and when Summer comes we love all of the fresh veggies! What are you looking forward to in Spring?

The Week’s Posts

Things have been a bit frustrating over on Instagram, ever since they changed the algorithm to most popular photos instead of chronological order growth has become a lot slower. I am just trying to enjoy this fun hobby and have a lot of fun chatting with other book lovers in the community 🙂

I am not looking forward to winter – I normally get really sick and with university it’s shit to miss. I’ve been really thinking about getting Royally Matched – as I’ve ben hearing such great things about it. I didn’t love Off the Ice – at all. I really hope that you do.

    Thanks for the post.

  • Oh man 20 inches!! We didn’t get that much at all. We are having some nicer weather though which I am all about. I always wanted to plant a veggie garden but never do. Maybe this year!! Enjoy all your new books and have a great week!!

  • The weather around here has been so crazy. One day it’s mid 70s and then the next its low 30s. I’m really ready for some warm weather. I want to get out and go hiking! Hope you enjoy all of your new books and have a great weekend!

February wasn’t really my friend, either. The whole family getting sick is like the low of the low. Glad spring is on it’s way! I think it’s awesome that you plant a garden as a family!
