I’m sure you’ve seen that throughout the bookish community lately quite a few subscription boxes have been popping up. I for one LOVE book subscription boxes!!! The idea behind these boxes, receiving a book and several bookish items all surrounding a monthly theme, is something I truly enjoy. I was lucky enough to receive one of Book Boyfriend Box‘s February “OUT OF THIS WORLD” boxes. This was my very first box from Book Boyfriend Box and I was very impressed with the apparent time and attention that was put into pulling this box together. Let’s take a look at the contents, shall we?

First up were these adorable The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy socks, made by Out of Print. How ADORABLE are these!! I adore fun socks, and aliens are up at the top of my list!

And if you thought those socks were adorable, just check out these bookmarks by Paperly&Co.! These characters are from The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer and are just so adorably cute!

Next up was this “Daddy, I See the Moon” bathbomb from Fizzy Fairy Apothecary! The coolest thing about this bathbomb is that all proceeds are donated to the TS Alliance in the search for a cure for tuberous sclerosis!

Lastly, this box included not one, but TWO, books!! We receive both Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth and a signed copy of Ascenders by CL Garber! I just LOVE how gorgeous Carve the Mark is under its dust jacket. And having a signed copy of Ascenders is so amazing!!

Overall, I’m very impressed with this entire box. Each item is such great quality and it’s easy to see how much time and attention these amazing small business owners put into their products. This is definitely a subscription box worth looking into.

I was given a promo code to share with you guys today! If you use the code ‘LISA10’ you will receive 10% off your first box!! April’s box is currently sold out, but follow Book Boyfriend Box’s instagram page to stay up-to-date on when boxes become available and new themes for upcoming months!

A huge thank you the wonderful crew at Book Boyfriend Box for sending me this box to review!

Have you ever received a box from Book Boyfriend Box? Do you receive any other subscription boxes? How do you feel about bookish subscription boxes in general?

I just wanted to get book boxes – but they are so expensive to get them here to Australia – just way to much that I can’t even explain. For fairyloot it was going to cost me $70 or something like that. Thanks for the post.

  • I’ve never actually heard of The Book Boyfriend Box. This one looks great! There are so many different book subscription boxes out there. I have been wanting to give one a try but haven’t decided which one I would want to go with. lol! I’m not good at making decisions!! lol
