Weekly Recap is a weekly feature here at Lost in Literature where we discuss all things bookish from the past week!

I’ve linked to Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga at Team Tynga’s Reviews & The Sunday Post, hosted by Kim at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Life Happenings

My kids are off for Spring Break this week and we have had so much fun together! We’ve gone to play Soccer, hiking, bike riding, mini golfing and out for ice cream… more than once on the ice cream 🙂 I am exhausted but at the ages of 8 and 5 I have to soak up all of these moments and enjoy them!

With all of this going on I am sure you can imagine that I have very little time to read. I basically only have time for 10-20 minutes a night before bed… or in other words before I fall asleep and my Kindle hits me in the face 😀 It’s breaking my heart but I know that I will be able to work it out and find the time to read again soon!

  • My kids had off too and we were out and about all week and enjoying the weather. New books look great hope you enjoy them. Have a wonderful week!

  • Jessica @ a GREAT read

Nice! Sounds like fun times! Unfortunately our weather which was going back and forth from being a tad too cold for spring to nearly spring shot straight to early summer temps. Ugh. Hate the heat. You’d think I’d be used to it since I’ve lived here all my life, but nope. I still loathe the summer and the humidity that comes with it! Lol!

Nice new reads too! They’re new to me ones but I hope you enjoy them all!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

I was in a Kindle-face dilemma myself last night after two Benadryl. Stupid allergic reactions. They’re such bullies. lol I hope you’re able to make up some lost time this week. It sounds like your kiddos had a great spring break. Happy reading and have a fantastic Easter!

  • Yay for spring break! It sounds like you had a fun week (also, I totally smiled at the ice cream part– every time I go home on breaks, my dad and I go get ice cream nearly every night, hahaha). I’m super excited about How to Make a Wish, so I’m pumped to hear your thoughts on that one. Have a great week, Becca!
