Weekly Recap is a weekly feature here at Lost in Literature where we discuss all things bookish from the past week!

I’ve linked to Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga at Team Tynga’s Reviews & The Sunday Post, hosted by Kim at Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Life Happenings

How’s everyone’s Spring going so far? I’m really enjoying the warmer temps myself. Our weather here is crazy as ever… it was over 80 one day, then 50 the next… but still, I’m happy there isn’t any snow! I’ve been able to sit outside a few times with my book, which is my absolutely favorite past-time. I love this time of year!!

I’ve read so many awesome books lately, I feel like I’m on a winning book streak! I’ve been reading a lot more romance as well, which I really enjoy. I’m definitely still a YA fan, but it’s nice to mix some NA and adult romances in there as well. Especially when the books are THIS GOOD! 🙂

Have you found any new awesome books lately? Any new recommendations for me?

This Stranger Things box was a Limited Edition box by the incredible Litcube!  If you watch Stranger Things, definitely take a look at this awesomeness!  Litcube also has a Gilmore Girls themed subscription box, which is called Stars Hollow Monthly.  This second image was an Exclusive Wedding Stars Hollow Monthly box!  It was all centered around Luke and Lorelai’s wedding day.  So fun!  Lastly, I received the Uppercase box!!  This month was one of my personal faves.  As always, the books that come in the Uppercase box are always signed!  And just look at the gorgeous goodies that were included this month!!

FYI: Litcube’s May theme is Robin Hood: Princess of Thieves!  This box is currently for sale, but they are almost sold out so act fast! Litcube is also currently selling a Limited Edition box.  This Limited Edition’s box theme is Circus Freak! 100 random boxes will include a special circus freak themed Book Beau!  That means you have a 1 in 6 chance of getting a special design Book Beau!

Promo code: LOSTINLIT10 will save you 10% off all Litcube and Stars Hollow Monthly boxes!

Thank you to Litcube and Uppercase for sending me these boxes!

Currently Reading

Violet Grenade The Garden of Small Beginnings

Reading: Violet Grenade ~ Victoria Scott is one of my personal faves, so I’m so excited to finally be reading this one!!  It’s definitely a lot darker and more strange than her other books, but I’m really enjoying it so far!
Listening: The Garden of Small Beginnings ~ I just started this one on audio, and already I’m liking it.  The writing style is quite sassy and fun, so I’m excited to see where this story will take me.

My love for Words in Deep Blue! Just so good. I hope you enjoy all the books. Thanks for the post.

  • Jessica @ a GREAT read

Ooh nice haul! Lots of new to me ones! I’m curious about Hand’s new book. When I read the description I hesitated on requesting. The main character didn’t sound too likeable and I wasn’t sure how we’re meant to like her when the story gets rolling. Lol. Can’t wait to see what you think of it! Hope you enjoy all the new reads!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

  • The weather around here has been really nice. I’ve really been enjoying getting out and enjoying the sun this past week. I had a serious case of cabin fever after this winter. lol!

So many great looking books! I also have a copy of Trusting You and Other Lies. It sounds like it’s going to be a good one. Hope you love all of your new books and have a great weekend!

  • Yeah the weather has kind of gotten chilly here with rain. Hope the sun comes out again!! Yay for a good streak of books. Looks like a great haul. I have The Garden of Small Beginnings and can’t wait to get to it. Happy reading and have a great week!

We had afternoon showers early in the week and this weekend it has turned quite a bit cooler, 60s-70s. There’s a bit of a chill in the air, like it’s fall. It feels great. I’ve had a great reading streak (my best in probably 2 years) this past month or so. And most of them have been romances, too! I have three more before I move on to something different. Have a great week!

  • Gosh! Your pics are so gorg! Nice haul too. Hope you enjoy your new books 🙂

  • Amazing haul! So many awesome books 🙂 Happy reading! I especially want to read The Afterlife of Holly Chase, it looks and sounds great 😀

Vwery sweet haul this week. It’s been in the 80s here and sunny. We usually have a short spring and right into summer. It sure seemed to take it’s time getting here. LOL

I’m a big fan of mixing books too, whether it’s “age range” or genre. It keeps me from getting bored or comparing similar books to each other! I love your instagram pictures, they’re gorgeous!! I’ll have to look into some of those books; I really want to read Wicked Like A Wildfire and Changes In Latitude!
