Lena Wise is always looking forward to tomorrow, especially at the start of her senior year. She's ready to pack in as much friend time as possible, to finish college applications, and to maybe let her childhood best friend Sebastian know how she really feels about him. For Lena, the upcoming year is going to be epic--one of opportunities and chances.
Until one choice, one moment, destroys everything.
Now Lena isn't looking forward to tomorrow. Not when friend time may never be the same. Not when college applications feel all but impossible. Not when Sebastian might never forgive her for what happened.
For what she let happen.
With the guilt growing each day, Lena knows that her only hope is to move on. But how can she move on when she and her friends' entire existences have been redefined? How can she move on when tomorrow isn't even guaranteed?

Why I’m waiting: Jennifer L. Armentrout is a go-to author of mine. If she wrote it, I want to read it. πŸ™‚

Becca’s Pick:

Ruby Scott is months behind on rent and can't seem to land a steady job. She has one chance to turn things around with a big audition. But instead of getting her big break, she gets sick as a dog and completely bombs it in the most humiliating fashion. All thanks to a mysterious, gorgeous guy who kissed--and then coughed on--her at a party the night before.
Luckily, her best friend might have found the perfect opportunity; a job staying at the lavish penthouse apartment of hotel magnate Bancroft Mills while he's out of town, taking care of his exotic pets. But when the newly-evicted Ruby arrives to meet her new employer, it turns out Bane is the same guy who got her sick.
Seeing his role in Ruby's dilemma, Bane offers her a permanent job as his live-in pet sitter until she can get back on her feet. Filled with hilariously awkward encounters and enough sexual tension to heat a New York City block, Shacking Up, from NYT and USA Today bestselling author Helena Hunting, is sure to keep you laughing and swooning all night long.

Why I’m waiting: I love Helene Hunting! Her writing is sexy and fun! I was so excited to learn that she had a new stand along novel coming out and Shacking Up sounds like an awesome read!

What are you waiting on this week?

Is it weird I haven’t read anything by Jennifer L. Armentrout yet? lol I do really want to read this one though! Perhaps it will motivate me to backtrack through some of her earlier reads. I’ve only head the Clipped Wings books by Helena Hunting (well and her fanfiction back in the day) but this sounds good too!

  • Great picks! Shacking sounds like one I would definitely love. I really like the cover for If There’s No Tomorrow. I’ve heard great things about her books.

  • The second one doesn’t really sound like it’s for me but I do like the sound of that first book! πŸ™‚

  • I haven’t read anything by either of these authors πŸ™‚ I hope you enjoy these books! Happy reading πŸ˜€
